Whether you’re living in the upper half of the United States or Canada where the weather isn’t exactly lounge-worthy all year, or whether you’re not a fan of spiders and other outdoor creatures, the idea of a hammock – which may sound great at first – may come with a bit of a burden.
If this sounds like you, an indoor hammock bed is likely just what you need to get the relaxing experience of a hammock without any of the downsides.
The product we’ll be reviewing today is such a hammock.
Let’s find out!
As the name would go on to hint, the Sunnydaze Cotton Rope Hammock is made of many intertwining pieces of small, cotton rope.
It goes on to form the shape of a bed, which can either be a good thing or a bad thing (which we’ll get to in a moment).
It be used either inside or outside due to its built-in stand which gives it some degree of versatility.
It has a few key features which set it apart from the rest.
With that said, let’s get in for a closer look.
The shape is what primarily makes it great as an indoor bed of sorts.
While many hammocks will have those using them actually “sink” into the unit, this is not so much the case with the Sunnydaze Cotton Rope Hammock, being that it takes on a similar shape to bed.
Although this may not be that great on its own (a hammock which allows you to sink may be more comfortable), it’s perfect for those who want to go the extra mile and actually put a mattress on top of their hammock.
This is perhaps the hammock’s biggest downfall.
For those who could be considered tall (think six feet or above), this indoor hammock bed may not be the best choice.
While you’ll certainly still be able to lay on it, it’s likely you may feel a little more cramped than necessary.
The Sunnydaze Cotton Rope Hammock’s stand is great for supporting one’s weight.
You’ll never hear of complaints regarding the durability of the stand, which is certainly something you want to look for in a product such as this.
The stand itself is also quite heavy, which goes on to give the entire unit a lower center of gravity.
Because of this, you’ll find swinging so hard that you topple over to be a rather hard thing to do.
While the Sunnydaze Cotton Rope Hammock will certainly serve its purpose as an outdoor hammock, I’m not going to say it’s the absolute best in this regard (though it’s certainly far from the worst).
As an indoor hammock bed; however, the hammock’s stand and shape make the possibilities endless.
If you’ve been looking for an indoor hammock bed, I’d recommend giving the Sunnydaze Cotton Rope Hammock a fair chance.
